The QC information technology industry

Quezon City has 271 firms engaged in various aspects of information technology, 120 of which are located inside PEZA-registered IT parks.

The firms are engaged in:

  • Providing business solutions software
  • Customer contact center and other voice outsourcing operations
  • Animation services

The favored locations are:
ncobpoEastwood City CyberPark, which is a 13.29 Information Technology Park integrated into a masterplanned, state-of-the art commercial and entertainment city development. Locators include customer contact centers, electronic publishers, e-commerce systems managers, other systems managers and integrators, multimedia service providers, internet access and data transport services providers, animators and web developers. Companies like IBM, Citibank, Accenture, Hinduja Global, Toei Animation and Epixtar operate in this cyberpark.

UP-Ayala TechnoHub, at 38 hectares, is the most expansive IT park and one of two located inside the University of the Philippines campus. It is Silicon Valley-inspired, seeking to nurture a dynamic learning laboratory for academic and industry collaborative projects. IBM operates an Innovation Center at this park, which is its second in southeast Asia.


Araneta Center in Cubao has several IT parks, including the Gateway Office Tower, Cyberpark Building One, and the Araneta Cyber Park, which is large at 7 hectares. Among the large locators here are Telus International Philippines, Accenture, and Apac Customer Services.

Quezon City Central Business District at the North and East Triangles of Quezon City has been masterplanned to have a 38-hectare information technology beltway, integrated into an environmentally sound, mixed-used community that is well connected to transport facilities. Among the early developers is Eton Centris, which has an
11.98 hectare IT park. Located at Centris are Wipro BPO Philippines, Genpact Services LLC and Interim Business Solutions.
