Quezon City to begin enforcing “No CCTV, No Business Permit” policy

nocctvnopermitAs a deterrent against crimes and to contribute to crime solution efficiency, business establishments in Quezon City are being required to install CCTVs. Last December 14, 2012, the Quezon City Council passed Ordinance No. SP-2139, series of 2012, which requires the installation of closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) or video surveillance systems in their business premises, as a prerequisite for the issuance of business permits.

Robinsons Expands Developments in QC

The Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) is set to build a mixed-use development in Libis, Quezon City from the recently acquired two-hectare property from Republic Glass Holdings. RLC president Frederick Go said the property will be developed into a residential and office complex with a retail component.
