Guide to Doing Business in Quezon City

 

REGISTERING A BUSINESS
1.    Submit Application Form with complete set of attachments to the One-Stop-Shop concierge.

CHECKLIST OF ATTACHMENTS (bring photocopy and original):
checkbox.fw Proof of business registration (DTI business name registration, if sole proprietorship; SEC incorporation documents, if corporation or partnership; CDA registration, if cooperative)

DOCUMENTS for RIGHT TO USE PROPERTY AS BUSINESS LOCATION

√ Contract of lease (if business location is leased)  

  • or Transfer Certificate of Title (if business location is owned by business applicant)
  • or Other arrangements:

Memorandum of Agreement

Formal consent of lot owner for applicant to use the property as the business location

  Location plan or clear sketch of location, showing street names; photos of frontage and interior of business premises

  Additional document requirements:

If the business location is inside a subdivision or in a predominantly residential area: signed certificate of “no objection” from the Homeowners’ Association or Neighbors’ consent

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

checkbox.fw If the applicant is not the business owner:  Authority to sign or Special Power of Attorney, with photocopy of government-issued ID of owner and applicant / Corporate Secretary’s affidavit, if the applicant is a corporation

The application is checked for completeness and goes through a simultaneous evaluation by the evaluators of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), the Zoning Office (for the locational clearance), and the Bureau of Fire Protection. 
2.    (For approved applications) Receive the Tax Bill, pay at the Cashier and receive the Official Receipt and the Business Permit and Business Plate

Note: Barangay Clearance is post-requirement for new businesses.
